This is a common Greek expression -a pun which literally means “Is this too heavy for you?” and- as its English translation - carries a metaphorical double meaning, essentially asking whether something is too much of a burden.

 

This phrase was selected as it is attention catching, while simultaneously by containing a direct reference to weight, links conveniently and introduces wittily the issue of the weight of the paper.

 

Weight

 

The weight of the paper is defined as its mass per area unit. This is usually expressed in kilograms.

 

The weighting is being done with special scales and under specific temperature and relative humidity conditions. gr/m2

The grains of the paper refers to the direction of the fibres in a sheet of paper
