Share the Air

While at Renegade, I helped develop and produce Sharetheair.net, a skateboarding/action sports site for Panasonic. Our concept revolved around the insight that hanging out with friends, exploring, and filming were as important to the fun of skateboarding as skating itself. To produce content for the site, I engineered a blogging-for-product partnership between Panasonic and Girl Skateboards. This led to other relationships with people like Atiba Jefferson (The Skateboard Mag), Ty Evans (Fully Flared), and The Art Dump. The best part of the project was teaching my heroes, Eric Koston, Mike Carroll and Atiba to blog.

Unfortunately, their blogs are no longer. However from 2005 to 2007, thousands of photos were uploaded to the site.
I brought my friends Gary Fogelson and Eric Elms in to design the site. They did a great job.
We also asked the Atiba and Ty to create mini-guides with skate shooting & filming techniques that were distributed on DVD's at events, and via podcasts on iTunes.
