I've been trying to embrace abstraction to allow the viewer to create
from their own psyche with my art as a provoker. In this piece I only
attempt to provoke emotion and inspiration using tools such as color,
shape, and form. The rest, including connotations of "Organic Metal" is
completely up to the viewer. What is the point? I am interested in
bringing visuals to the public so that it becomes dialogue between the
art and audience. Artists cannot always be around to defend or explain
their work but our art is our medium to communicate our thoughts and
ideas. Did you ever say something, not knowing the reason why your gut
is telling you to say it, but expect someone to respond? Even if they
respond without much comprehension? In this situation you are laying down a platform for a flow of conversation that may be ever growing
or "organic", depending upon the agreeing interests. In other words,
the conversation can go in any direction. I, the artist, leave this
piece to the general public, open to interpretation. It is visual
abstraction that speaks and may be received as wanted and responded to
as desired. If ever given a chance to present this piece, I couldn't
tell you what this means. I would more interested in what you see or
what you're thinking.
