The Oregon Wine Board wanted to sponsor a sustainable wine growing certification program. Therefore, they needed a mark that could identify sustainably produced wines. The concept of
infinity was incorporated into a "mobius strip" graphic. The symbol, in
the shape of an "O", is an interlocking and never ending line that
represents the concept of sustainability.

The
logo would be made available for certified wine growers to place on
their labels as a sign of responsible wine growing and quality. The mark needed to work as a one color logo in black, and reversed in white. Most important, the mark had to be able to be reproduce at a very small size.

The mark represents the first 3rd party certified sustainable program of it's kind. A project worthy of media attention.
