Each year almost 20 billion pair of shoes are produced, an issue is the recycling process of shoes most shoes are made from multiple materials which needs to be sorted out when the shoes are disposed, these shoes are designed to be more sustainable, with use of one single material, PE (polyethylene) and each part of the shoe is made from varieties of PE, this means that when the shoes are disposed at the end of use they do not need to be disassembled and can be recycled and made into new products right away.
