Some hotels have a consistent look and feel wherever you stay. At Omni Hotels each one is different. They each adopt the look, feel, and culture of their city. The lines of where the hotel stops and the city starts are blurred. 
That idea of transparency was the thought behind the visual metaphor of these ads. By using xray photography, the ads take on a transparent feel while the subject matter is still very unique to the regions these ads ran in. 
These ads were intended for corporate meeting planners.
