2. New circus festival
Art directing, visual identity, posters, web design, catalogue...
This year festival drives under the selection motto "Barriers' Relativity", the selected new-circus shows are either already acknowledged as high quality art works or they are imminently going to be recognized as such in the near future. The struggle with barriers, one's own imperfection or the limitations of the system is what keeps pushing the artistic impulse forward where it can defy customs with constant self-argumentation. Hights, distances, metaphorical depths... The whole metrical system is being relativized at the very spot in which personal intercession seems to be the guarantee of the fastest way.
I was working with Ivan Kralj, director of festival, on the visual identity and we came up with the the whole idea of little man jumping from the apple in the small glass while the circus plane was flaying above. I did the whole identity & design, Ozren Crnogorac did the layout of the festival catologue and Gorjan Agačević, Vedran Kolac & Aljoša Mohorović did the web engine.
