Here you can find some photos I made to get admitted to an artschool in Utrecht, Holland. The assignment was "show us what your life looks like in 10 photos". I started with brainstorming - what do I do in my life daily? Then I came up with the following: I sport (kickboxing and karate); I see my friends; I eat food (always important to stay alive!); my parents are important to me; my cuticle cream holds great memories; I spend a lot of time in my room each day; time is also important, it sort of rules our lives; I like to lie on my bed and read books.

Here are the photos I eventually came up with:

This is my desk with my laptop and all my personal stuff. I decided to put my self portrait on the background of my monitor to make clear that this is my space.

My mommy.

My breakfast and lunch.

My karate belt and hand protector for kick-boxing.

Time - my watch. This was pretty much an experiment also. I took a black piece of cloth to use as background, put off all the lights in my room, used my tripod and a pretty long shutterspeed so I had time to move the watch.
