This is a painting for one half of the cover of a literary magazine called "The Normal School". The magazine will be published this fall. I documented my process for the other half of the painting from start to finish below, the theme was "show and tell". I hope you enjoy, and thank you for looking.

I sewed together the background with a sewing machine and put my little friends on there. SHOW AND TELL!

The final cover... pick it up at Barnes and Noble. Show and Tell!!!!!

these are 5 black and white drawings that will be in the magazine.
