Over the past several years, we have seen an appreciation of art in
music decline. This is especially true with print design, as well as
with the music itself. This depreciation is mostly happening with
younger generations who acquire music over the Internet, legally or
illegally. We need to bring a strong emphasis back to the artistic side
of music, not only with the actual art, but also with the music itself.
Music Minus Art Equals Death (MMAED) wants to make this happen, whether it be by having group discussions on music design (album artwork, posters, merchandise, ect.), music itself, or music-oriented designers/studios.
This is a semester long project I have created and designed. It is not a real group, although I would love to see it become one. I have a group on Facebook, here. Check it out!
