Morricone is a combination of egyptian and italian slab serifs from the 1800s and the modern fascination with simple geometric forms continuing from mid-century modernism. And where all of these influences seem to converge is in the late 60s spaghetti western films. Hence the name, Morricone, taken from one of the genre's greatest composers. Our new font, Morricone, is unicase with alternates for the uppercase in the lowercase. Although similar to some recent predecessors such as Black Slabbath, Morricone is a new gun with its own song.
