Mau Mau - DEA
I did this in 2006, for Mau Mau last album, DEA (goddess).
Mau Mau is a italian band that plays kind of world music, tropical mood.
Parrot came in my mind because it's one of the few animals that is able to speak, it's a tropical being and it has cool colors, so i thught it could be a nice representation of a goddess.
I made the "DEA" parrot using different elements from the Mau Mau imaginery: in the beak there are reflections made of Africas and South Americas, reflections on the plumes on the head are made by Italies, you can see musical instruments, boats, a idol, etc.
