Madrid 2016 Olympics Promotional Project
This class project aimed at designing a logo for the summer Olympics of 2016 that would be hypothetically held in Madrid (which it could very well be if it wins the bid!). The logo of the bull is inspired by the historical sport of bull-fighting in Madrid and the cubist style of its famed native, Pablo Picasso. The promotional poster deconstructs the cubist bull into different planes and is divided it into three sections, each treated differently. The three posters can be used together as a unit or separately in their own independent environments. The main aim for the logo and the posters was to promote vigor, pride and the spirit associated with the Olympic games.
