In 2006, OMEGA were announced as the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games for a 25th time.
Using the language of Olympic poster graphic design, this project was a straight up branding exercise across all media during the 2012 Olympic Games. The central theme was an acknowledgement of the previous time OMEGA was in London: 1948. Back then they introduced the first photo-electric cell which was used in conjunction with the "race-end camera" producing the world's first Olympic photo-finish and changing the timekeeping technology forever.
