El Chico
el chico is a popular mexican restaurant with over 100 locations throughout the southern
united states.
this project called for a re-design of el chico's current identity. the client asked that we adhere to the elements already present in their current design, but update them to make it more modern in appearance. below is their original logo followed by my updated solution.

questiontech is a re-design of tech tv's now defunct program, the screen savers.
viewers could call in live to troubleshoot problems they were having with their computers and computer accessories.

aurolab is a manufacturer of prosthetic intraocular lenses for people in developing countries who suffer from cataracts.
believe it or not, if you have cataracts you can have the lens of your eye surgically removed and replaced with a prosthetic, thus restoring your vision. what's next science?

Squeak
squeak is computer software used by web developers to identify what tags their competitors are using to make their websites pop up first in a google search.
the software litterally navigates the maze of code to identify their tags, which you can then include in your code to maximize your sites presence in a search.

Imatron
imatron is a manufacturer of high-speed CT MRI scanners used to identify abnormalities in the chest and abdomen.
you know at the hospital, that tunnel thing they put you in to see your insides? and they usually shoot dye into your veins before you go in it, and it kinda spins around you while it's scanning? that's what this is, only better.

TerraCycle
terracycle is a manufacturer of 100% organic plant food that is packaged in recycled 20oz plastic bottles and shipped in recycled cardboard boxes, thus leaving no footprint on the environment.
basically what these guys do is take a bunch off garbage from penn state's university cafeteria, feed it to woms and take the by-product and packages it in used coke bottles that they get trough bottle drives at local elementary shcools. i think their profit margin is better than 100% because their operation doesn't cost them any money out of pocket. well, aside from funding a pizza party for the class that collects the most bottles. but nothing major.
all of the elements that comprise this icon were derived from popular recycling symbols.

tiger lily is an upscale womens boutique located in boulder colorado. they specialize in fashion accessories and home decor.
kind of like anthropologie, but only one location.

Bows+Arrows
bows+arrows is a small trend shop/boutique in Austin Texas that carries men's and women's designer clothing, fashion accessories and home decor.
this project called for an icon with a prestigious feel, yet modern in appearance. my solution was based on the traditional eagle crest, but rendered in a more modern, friendly manner and with an owl as the subject matter. because everyone likes owls.

revenue cycle associates is a division of tenet healthcare. they help hospitals fight health insurance companies to get the money they deserve. over the last few years, tenet has provided this service exclusively to their own hospitals, and have averaged over $9 billion per year in insurance claims. they have now expanded their company to help other hospitals.
since this is a business-to-business company, the logo had to remain fairly conservative, while still displaying a sense of the "cycle" (their terminology) service they provide.
