LICOR BEIRÃO - CONCEPT FOR RESTYLING OF THE ACTUAL BOTTLE
Licor Beirão is one of the best known Portuguese brands of alcoholic beverages.
Originally from Lousã, a small town on the north of Portugal, this product is drunk throughout the country and calls itself as "O Licor de Portugal" which means "The Liquor of Portugal", using the national colors as the main brand colors.
Keeping this prestige I tried to simplify and modernize a brand well established in the domestic market.
I kept the national colors as main colors but I designed a new, contemporary and visually fresh logotype. It is stylish and it represents the power of the brand. I have used the circle as main symbol, which represents quality, balance and quality.
The structural design as some changes as well, more simple and modern, in green matte painted glass, without transparencies.
The objective was to surprise the market with a new and fresh look.
