El proyecto de La Kalandra consitió en generar una imagen que se comunicara, e identificara efectivamente con la gente jóven de México que ama la cultura POP global y local.
La Kalandra o Calandria además de ser un ave, es un típico carruaje mexicano, en el cual muchos turistas pasean al visitar nuestra ciudad, y es bien conocida mundialmente, así que como la tienda está ubicada en el centro de Guadalajara, Jal. México, pensamos sería muy representativo para exponerse internacionalmente.
Varios Artistas fueron invitados a colaborar con la tienda, entre ellos Satter Ugly, Roberto Morleghem, y Loco Bikes.
Dentro de la tienda se pueden encontrar marcas como: WESC, Neuralgia, Stussy, Adidas, Beta Unit, Obey, Zero Friends, Te Amo, Anzevino & Florence, Imaginary Foundation, etc

The Kalandra project consisted in creating an image that would attract young Mexican people who love both global and local POP culture, an image with which they could feel identified and have an interactive and effective communication.

La Kalandra es una ave que con su largo trino anuncia la noche que se acerca, la obscuridad tomando su terreno, a la vez, también nos intenta decir que nos iluminará el cambio que se aproxima y que la nueva generación está por llegar.
Una generación que emerge curiosa y orgullosa de nuestras raíces, justo donde habita el verdadero espíritu de un pueblo, con gran hambre de ser global, de exponerse sin reservas ante el mundo, de defender ferozmente el territorio en que se encuentra asentada, con un nuevo sentido de sociedad, compromiso y cooperación, pero siempre con los pies en la tierra.
La Kalandra is a bird that with its long trill announces the night approaching, darkness spreading and gaining terrain. At the same time, it tries to tell us that she will light the way during the coming transition and that the new generation is about to arrive.
A generation that emerges curious and proud of our roots, just where the true spirit of the people lives, with great hunger of being global, of exposing themselves to the world without any reservations, fearlessly and ferociously defending the land that lays beneath their feet, with a new sense of society, compromise, and cooperation, but always knowing exactly where they stand.
