This is a rough crack at a collection of images I've made of one person, my wife Kat. I say rough because I'm not sure what form the collection will eventually take. As she's been my companion in life, she's also been my companion in my creative development, as a subject. My earliest images of her are from my handrolled Tmax 400 film that I developed by hand, shot through  an ancient AE1 with a 50 mm lense. I had little real sense of what I was doing, I knew who my influences were but not what my vision was. As I look back at these images I see not only her passage though time, but my passage as a photographer, stretching and learning. I've been photographing her for nine years now, but these are all from the first four. All images were made on film.

what a beautifully diverse narrative!
particularly fond of 9 and 15, and 21.
the the light cast on her back in the last one is lovely.
