Burning Car
The essential gentleman, planting his seeds and growing nature inside the concrete.

JOHN FOXX
Foxx originally released ‘Burning Car’ on a 10” picture disc in 1980 - an awesomely scarce affair, with cold and electronic visions of the future. Re-mixed and re-exposed by Dubterror, with direction by KARBORN the re-imagined 2008 ‘Burning Car’ skids and swivels on screaming pads, all textured, all bleeping and thumping the stepping machines smashing rhythms. ‘20th Century’ is the b-side, and similar to ‘Burning Car’ is an original Foxx record, re-imagined by Dubterror and KARBORN. 100 years of shifting sound echoing long hopes, lost visions and haunted industrial landscapes, rising and roaring under collapsing super-structures.
The project was built on the four corners of vinyl, canvases, videos and hand-painted VIP dubplates to create something solid and multi-disciplined.
