Idea Generation
A dynamic new brand that reflects a unique approach to public relations for the UK’s leading creative and cultural PR agency.
Idea Generation is the UK's leading creative and cultural public relations agency. A sustained period of growth dictated a need to relocate to larger premises. Idea Generation directors saw the move as an opportunity to review the company’s brand identity, communications material and all related systems.
The solution would need to reflect the company’s unique approach to public relations �" process-driven, and underpinned by a coherent structure that encourages creativity, rather than hindering it �" descriptors that we identified as the core values of the brand.
We designed a unique grid to visualise the idea of a rigourous structure or system. From the grid we created the letterforms that build the Idea Generation logo. The logo is a snap-shot of this building process and the grid-system acts as an ownable visual identifier across communications. Pure, functional typography extends these values to textual text elements.
These brand assets provided the foundation for the development of a comprehensive suite of bespoke, customisable communication and presentation tools; the resulting elements impacting positively on both efficiency and brand effectiveness in equal measures.
The fully content-managed website (shown) is a key component of the Idea Generation re-brand.
Striking imagery from the company’s extensive project archive is featured throughout and treated with a bespoke image transition, based on the Idea Generation grid-system.
The home page uses bold, structural typography to navigate across sections and high-impact client testimonials to grab the users’ attention on entry.
