Powerful exaggeration of colors and features to convey your point. Kind of slams a person in the face with stylish brilliance. The whole flowing hair bit with all the ornamentations is nice; it catches the eye, and the detail allows a person to wander a bit into the painting's more subtle touches.
Technical note: Being a musician myself, one of the first things my eyes jumped to was her position on the elaborately decorated guitar's neck, and it wasn't in any chord position. Is this why you cropped out the left hand in the final print? Just my insatiable curiosity, that's all. Great work.
