This project marks my first attempt at model photography. My regular work centers on candid and cityscape photography, but I took on this job at the request of Emi, the model. As a result, I've taken to occasionally work on this type of photography when there are willing volunteer models.
The photographs were taken with a Nikon D80 with a 18-70 mm lens on a warm spring day. All of the pictures have had their saturation boosted about 20% and have had their contrast tweaked a little bit. The fourth photograph has been retouched in Photoshop.

Kimono Costumer/Dresser - Akari Katayama
Assistant - Shunta Nomura
Location - Former British Consular Residence in Yokohama, Japan.
Equipment - Nikon D80 with 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 AF-S DX Lens and SB-800, makeshift reflector card.
Software - Apple Aperture, Adobe Photoshop CS3.
Title - Adobe Illustrator CS3 & Adobe Photoshop CS3.
