Trying to capture the harrowing alienation of life flitting from one hotel room to the next, where states, countries, even continents begin to merge into one another. The desperate isolation, jetlag, weekends filled with untrammeled boredom, and weeks fuelled by gruesome food and cable TV all combine to induce a miasma of psychotic abstraction. But I still drop everything if it means traveling somewhere.
