As part of the YCN Awards, HMV challenged people to improve the website to attract a higher number of unique visitors, a larger average transaction value and a higher conversion rate. I'm not allowed to enter but I thought I'd have a go... until they changed the website 4 times in one week, including moving the search bar to the top, which is what I'd done. I decided to stop incase they can read my mind!
