The First. Since 1956
The Public television is one of the first in the world.Contrary to the State TV companies of the former Soviet countries, that have ceased operations, Armenia's Public television and Russia's ORT are the only successors of State TV companies that have preserved leading positions in their countries and are stable companies by all European standards.
Today H1 is a channel with the largest broadcast area not only in Armenia, but in the entire South Caucasus. Our channel can be viewed in CIS, Europe, Near and Middle East and North Africa, USA and Canada, Siberia, the Far East and Australia.
Armenian Public Television and Radio became EBU active members during the 56th EBU General Assembly on 7-8, July in Dubrovnik, Croatia. It will allow to broadcast all European projects on Public television. The Public television cooperates with Canal France International organization, what provides documentary, animation and feature licensed films.
