In the spirit of promoting healthy travel Pseudo Republik decided to transform this cute little Gitane from hard rubbish into a sweet ride. French bicycle maker Gitane released this version in 1974. These bikes are everywhere chained to lamp poles on the streets of cities like Barcelona and Milan however, they are hard to find in Australia. This type of frame often features a folding mechanism which allows the bike to fold into a compact package however we love the simple, clean lines and the integrated platform at the back.

Rebuilt Information:

Yellow-gold powder coat

Brooks saddle

Single speed with coaster break

Vintage Gitane peddles

Dragster bars

Gum-wall tyres
