Gimme is a Facebook application that I have been involved with at work over the past few months. Although not strictly something I was involved with design wise, I have worked closely with usability and design ideas for this project.

Gimme is the first application on facebook to you show your friends all the stuff you really want in life, and gives you the chance to buy your friend’s some decent presents this time round. With Gimme’s integrated search, you can add any product on the web to your personal wish-list at the cheapest price or add products whilst you surf the web with the Gimme bookmarklet. You can even personalise your list by re-arranging your items or by changing your wish-list theme to suit the occasion.

How It all works..

- The easiest way to start adding items to your list is by finding the product your looking for through the built in Gimme price comparison search engine. Gimme wades through hundred’s of online retailer’s to find you the best price for the what you want.

- To Add products you find whilst surfing the web just add the Gimme Bookmarklet to your web browser. It’s really easy to use, and quite handy if you stumble upon that special something.

- Found something you want so bad but just can’t find on the web, no problem - you can upload your own items to share with your all of your facebook friends through Gimme’s manual upload feature.

What else..

- Re-arrange items on your list and re-style your Gimme list with a series of cool themes to suit the occasion wether it be birthday, easter or those Hanukkah celebrations.

- See what everyone else on facebook wants with the “Popular on Facebook” feature.
