CLIENT: Freebit
BACKGROUND
Freebit owns a patent for the most comfortable ear interface on the market. It is used on earphones and headsets to make them fit the ear more comfortable and more stably than other earphones. This enables the user to do anything from running to skydiving while listening to music or ordering take-away. Any company that manufacturs earphones or headsets can lisence the right to use the Freebit ear interface.
BRIEF
Despite the extraordinary features of the Freebit ear interface, the company had a hard time attracting clients. The reason was that they did not understand exactly how extraordinary the features are because the previous website failed to explain this in an attractive way. Freebit wanted our help to create a modern website that explains the product and inspires the clients to see its possibilities.
IDEA
After carefully analysing the product and the target group (product managers & product developers) Troll decided to adapt the thought process and the language of the target group. This means that we talk about product features in terms of user needs. Stable mounting equals freedom of movement and the possibility to go for a run while listening to music and so on. We also found it important to inspire the target group to see the unleashed design possibilities that comes from better comfort and increased stability.
