This was a concept for a new logo for 'For Girls Sake', an agency that helps young girls who live in third world countries to get a degree and make a difference... basically giving them a chance in their own society. It was influenced by Unilver and growth/freedom and although it didn't get picked, I did want to show it as a portfolio piece.

(update: I optimized the picture a bit... it was incredibly jagged, so it should look a lot better this time)

Looks great!!! only one thing is I would prefer all the details in the letter G in one solid color, or just limit it to two colors, instead of having different shades of blacks/browns...
great design!!! :)

Thanks :)

I did think about scalability, but you don't "have" to use it as a thumbnail-sized logo. Even on a businesscard this logo would still be very detailed. My avatar here (on the left) is a tad too small, but a tad bigger and it would be viewable already (with a smaller size you could always decide not to use the sideprint).

Shame the client didn't pick it though ;)

man this simply looks awesome. all the jank about the (un)efficiency as a logo, be it printed or scaled: totally lost! :-)

If I make it bigger you'd see the inefficiencies even better ;)
It was a sketch/concept, so I'd much rather have people see the meaning of the logo instead of the inefficiencies in the details, hehe. But thanks for all the comments though; it's much appreciated!
