FlexOn concept
The bath is made of a firm, flexible and well stretched material (that is analogous
to the fabric "conceptcar BMW Gina"). The bath's useful volume is
formed through stretching of the material. Underneath this film is attached
firmly to a hard flat panel which plays a role of the bath's bottom. But the
side surfaces are under tension, thus giving an effect of soft walls.
The obverse panel can be differently styled and colored.
In accordance with the owner's desire, the bath can be transformed to a shower
mode. At this stage, the mechanisms are activated that lift the flat panel and take
away the excess fabric. As a result, one obtains a flat smooth surface at the
floor level. It is a convenient position to take a shower. Additionally, the
bath in such a folded form does not overload the bathroom space.
To take a shower, the shower curtain is provided. It is made of an analogous
material that additionally is the semi-transparent one (also it can have
traceries). The curtain is fixed to the metallic basement of the bath by a
magnet frame, thus preventing the water sprinkling over the bathroom. If not
used, the shower curtain is fastened to the upper metallic holders.
The control panel is styled just like a usual crane valve. It has a wireless
and fully waterproof construction and provides the absolute safety. The control
panel can be fixed in any position, convenient for use, on every surface of
bath. It is used to establish the value of the water discharge, and also - the
temperature with the precision of one tenth of degree (the last is of special
importance while bathing little childs). The system maintains the predefined
parameters automatically, thus excluding accidental abrupt changes of the
temperature. The control panel has also the blocking position - hold.
The project presented here demonstrates some new flexible opportunities of a
bath; this is the reason to call it "FlexOn".
