Fargo USA Wrestling 2009
I was fortunate enough to be on the coaching staff for Team Virginia this year. I brought my Minolta 35mm camera that I picked up at Goodwill for 4 dollars and with a couple rolls of expired fuji velvia 100 slide film I captured the below images from training to competing:

This is the "Junior" level kids of team VA. The junior division is roughly 17 and 18 year old kids.

These are the candid "Cadets." The younger of the two divisions in Fargo it is mostly 14-16 year olds.

During Training camp in Christiansburg, VA the team warms up for a sprint workout.

A breakdown to conclude the workout during Training Camp.

Two Cadets from Christiansburg High School warming up on the floor of the Fargo Dome.

Christiansburg High School head coach Daryl Weber motivating two wrestlers before competing.

College wrestling coaches come from across the country to scout out recruits. A former team-mate of mine at Virginia Tech and current assistant coach at Bucknell University, Dave Hoffman makes notes on possible recruits.

Joey Dance atop the elevated platform mat that sits in the middle of an indoor football stadium.

Joey Dance, who would go on to place 2nd in Greco and 1st in Freestyle picking up a pin in the middle of a Gut Wrench.

Outside the Fargo Dome a Virginia Wrestler sets up shop, trading/selling gear with other wrestlers from all over the United States.

While in between rounds I would ride on my longboard and drink mountain dews. Mountain Dew is an unofficial drink of the Christiansburg coaching staff during the daytime.

While boarding I caught a plane landing at Fargo International Airport.

During the night a bar called "The Turf" becomes a favorite hangout of the coaching staff.

I took a detour on the way home from the bars.

Jason Bryant mounting my longboard. Jason is one of the most important and prolific journalists for the sport of wrestling in VA and the united states.

Inside the FargoDome. I enjoy taking pictures of my favorite numbers.
