You never know what the view will be like when waking up in Far Rockaway Beach, Queens.
For many years now, I have been pleasantly surprised at the views outside my window. Nights are detailed with speckled dots of the city life happening down below in the neighborhood.
Most visually pleasing nights are during the windless summer evenings, just past the sunset when the moon is full reflecting in the black luster-like ocean colors.
During the Spring time, the weather temperatures go up and down creating misty fogs just soon after rain rising high above the building tops. Living at high altitudes makes one develop an omniscient complex - a feel of power over everything surrounding your space.
The beach front here is quite nice, unlike Rockaway Beach, not at all crowded and filled up only mostly by the locals. Take the A subway to the last stop of Mott Ave for a view into a world hidden outside the city limits.
Happy photo-taking travels!
