Edmonton Tourism DM Book

This piece was a DM (Book) sent by Edmonton Tourism to promote its arts and culture to customers looking for a place to host a corporate convention. We styled it after a children's flip up book, where you turn each page to see a cool scene depicting the city and then pull a flap up to reveal serious facts and info about Edmonton, it's festivals and convention facilities. I was the Creative Director on the project while at Red Communications. The Art Director and person behind the idea was Trevor Horbachewsky. The Illustrator was Carla Andrews. Copywriters: Karin Brown (Poem) Dale Bochon (Flip up).

Page revealing Old Strathcona/Whyte Avenue in Edmonton. Info portion is flipped up to show how the facts were presented. Every page in the book contained a flip up section. There were four flip ups in total.

Page depicting new Edmonton art gallery and festival venues.

Back cover depicting Bourbon Street and Galaxyland in West Edmonton Mall + Corporate and contact info.
