Front cover for a magazine brief which was aimed at 16-19year olds, this front cover is based on the idea of a family tree but it actually has the topics, sub topics and articles as the lines of generations to help them know what is in the magazine before they open it.

This was a contents page for what was on in the summer, I wanted to create a nice fresh summer feel and by having the times to the side of the event it helps make each even easier to find.

Main feature of the magazine, the spread has been deisgned to relate to the lead singer of the band The Gossip, grungy, out of grid, in your face, all these descriptions which matched the character of this singer.

Follow on spread to the Beth Ditto spread, wanted to create a bit more attitude and by having the grids more out of sync it is helping he character to blend in slightly more.

This spread is to help give advice on how to become an engineer, the cogs have been used to help push and pull the text across the page, and with the sub-heads encircled with belts it helps bring your eye across the page.

Summer spread, by having the word summer made out of grass it helped with the fresh summer feeling, the text columns have been placed up and down to help create a hill like effect and with little vector bugs leaving a trail through the text helps to bring your eyes through the text and across the page.

Another front cover, this was to help create a bright fesh summer feeling, and by having summer icons helps to give the summer effect to its viewers.
