Over the last half of my Fall semester I have been working to put together a three piece packaging kit and brochure. I derived my inspiration for the children's rain gear (including Rain Boots, Jacket and Umbrella) from Japanese Pop Culture. I thoroughly enjoy the clever and cute cartoon like characters that sprinkle the advertising world in Japan so much that I created my own, Dribble. Dribble is a blue friend and loves the rain. All copy has been written in his voice. I have also illustrated a booklet to accompany the package nestled away on his tongue of the outer box. A few images from the booklet are included below.
