Dreams to Dreams

Title: Totoro jizou is my contribution to my Dreams to Dreams custom show.

The concept combines 2 well known icons, Ojizousama is a familiar statue found all over Japan from temples to roadside. Ojizousama are the protector of children and travelers. The other icon is the character Totoro. Created by the acclaimed story teller Hayao Miyazaki the, Totoro is the King or Guardian of the forest. As I love to layer designs with multiple references, it found blending these 2 ideas irresistible.
