Another 'mock' music piece, I created this for a metal/grindcore show that doesn't actually exist, but should. I wanted to create a real battle between feelings, like the music does, through typography. So I used very intense type for the titles and then I kept it very prestigious for the rest of the copy. I feel that it creates a good amount of contrast just through the type alone, which is good, because musically these bands are almost always intense but if you listen deep enough it's not always as 'angry' as it seems. That's the funny thing about heavy music in general to me - I think a lot of people mistake passion for anger, which, unfortunately for them, draws them away from this type of music.
