A self-initiated project, this large format poster was conceptualized to represent the “Big Three” American automotive manufacturers emerging from the Automotive Crisis that nearly destroyed them. With the introduction and ensuing popularity of their flagship retro-themed muscle cars — the legendary Mustang, the returning-from-hiatus Camaro and the HEMI-powered Challenger — the Big Three emerged from the storm more powerful than ever. Detroit Muscle was back, and it was as loud as ever. This poster represents that with a composite that focuses on every little detail of these gorgeous cars and sets a sinister mood for what these high horsepower beasts are about to let loose on the pavement.
