Design Around the World

·        This project is somewhat never finished. It was an information management project which I did in cooperation with Saied Ansari, Heather Pringle, Marie Ko in 2007 

Goal To give a taste of the discipline of graphic design worldwide between 1930 to 2006, and to invent and use a set of principles that will allow a fast and comprehensive production of the piece in a short period of time, while supporting a strong conceptual frame.

 Concept As time passes by, different events in history trigger change, which gradually occurs more frequently, evident to the technological and cultural advancement. A color and numeric system ease the understanding of the presented information supported by visuals placed on a time line. A set of orange dots on the time line indicate the amount of work created, influenced by the rate of change.
