I graduated in Industrial Design in January 2009.
This project focuses on the Italian contemporary Type Design, which is currently growing in importance, diffusion and quality.
With the help of some professional type Designers as Luciano Perondi, Albert Pinggera, Giuseppe Errico and Erasmo Ciufo, who gave me the opportunity to work with their typefaces, I designed a series of postage stamps.
These stamps had to celebrate the importance of Type Design, but had also to be enjoyable by everyone, not just by typophiles. Thus, the choice of using letters to create animals: typefaces aren't just vehicles of written contents, but can be also enjoyed for their beautiful shapes.
