I think Trajan needs no introduction. This typeface knows any graphic designer. It's an old style serif typeface designed in 1989 by Carol Twombly for Adobe. It's very popular, but it still hasn't cyrillic. I tried to made this.

Trajan is based on Roman square capitals. Cyrillic didn't exist in Roman times, and i tried to imagine how it might be look in that time.

Actually, tail of Q and descenders of Щ, Ц is not the same elements,

but it makes more Roman look

Like a latin Trajan, cyrillic version can be used in books, magazines, billboards and, of course, movie posters.

Poster of "Flags of our Fathers" in Russia might be look like that

Many people ask me for this font, please, don't do this. I can't give it to you. Although cyrillic letters is mine, only Adobe can distribute this. I made this work only for self-training.

If you looking for cyrillic Trajan, you should try Romul by ParaType. It's bored, there is no tails in Ц, Щ but it's legal and made more professionally.

I like it very much. Too bad Adobe doesn't pay you to add the Cyrillic. Well, if people want Cyrillic for Trajan, they might be interested in my Goudy Trajan which I will be updating with Cyrillic sometime soon. And yes, it will have long tails like these.

Well, I don't understand a word from Cyrillic, but the glyphs are very well done, they kept the main essence of the Trajan font and I can really see them being part of the original font! Great work there! (btw, silver Trajan is damn sexy!) lol ^^
