These are my submissions for a competition to design a logo and a claim for Creative City Berlin.
The claim "BE Inspired" takes on a number of different meanings. Firstly, Berlin is an inspiring place, not only in terms of it's history, but also in innovation and creativity. Secondly, because Berlin can be abbreviated to "BE" the claim can also take on the meaning that the creativity here is in turn inspired by Berlin itself. The use of the graphic represents innovation and progression, while being self sufficient and contained. CCB can also be made out of this, strengthening the connection to Creative City Berlin. The logo also has an architectural feel to it which suggests that these are things to build upon and continue to grow.
