Comcast - TheSlowskys.com
Honest and Goodby joined forces to create a fictional website based around The Slowskys, a pair of middle America turtles that have mistakenly imagined that a web-site is something that should be built in the physical world. In this case, they've constructed their "site" out of a dresser-like piece of furniture, decorated with hand-lettered signs, in their living room.
We worked with Fangohr and Phil Lubliner to build the model from scratch: everything from a TV that slides out to show the Comcast commercials to the little man that rides around on the hand cranked train on the floor. The interaction was painstakingly filmed in stop-motion to keep the authentic, lo-tech feel, then stitched together in Flash. I produced the site while at Honest.

The Making Of. We had to pull several all nighters to finish the "site" in time.

The Final Product

A fun stop-motion Rube Goldstein style animation which told you your fortune at the end of the cycle.
