I never really do any kind of real "sketchbook" type stuff for any of my shirt designs but I thought this was a great idea and I just had to run with it. The graphic itself is inspired by the song "Swang On'em" which is by Bun B and features Lupe Fiasco who is by far my favorite artist. There is a line in the song that goes something like, "getting swallowed by those city lights," which to me means big huge heat lamp looking things overshadowing a whole city. I don't know how well this will work on a tee but either way it was a fun one to do and it helped me learn more and more about Illustrator and how to make paths do whatever I want.
