This bass is made from two pieces of quarter sawn bookmatched Spalted Beech, which i managed to get hold of for the happy sum of twenty quid. The neck is Maple and the fingerboard is Rosewood. The binding is Ebony, and the back plates are Rosewood. Originally when it was made it was just called 'The Beast' and the guy who owns it still calls it that. It sounds like being punched in the face by an angrygorilla during an earthquake. It has a volume for each pickup and a master tone. It also has 25db active preamp.
