Cause for Drinks

Why? Because you’re going to drink anyways.  Cause for Drinks is a series of bi-monthly happy hours hosted by alldaybuffet in cities across the country. It’s a pretty simple idea. People in each city gather for happy hour at their local watering hole and $2 from every drink goes to a selected charity. We’ve raised over $10,000 since we've launched. That’s almost 5,000 drinks consumed! Excited yet? Check out our past Cause for Drinks to see how we get down.

Since August 2007, we've hosted them in New York, New Orleans, Washington D.C., Austin, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Richmond, Annapolis, Boston, and Seattle.  Phew!

And we've raised over $10,000 for the following charities:  Change for Kids, N
ew Orleans Kid Camera Project, NOLA YURP Initiative, YWCA, Ghetto Film School, Fort Greene's Performing Arts Middle School 113, People's Community Clinic, Wateraid, Emancipet, Urban Rest Stop, Lower 9th Ward Clinic, The Arc of the Central Chesapeake Clinic, The Food Project, Green Guerillas, Amara, Rocket Dog Rescue, Rebuilding New Orleans Together
, JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes.

Who would we be without showing love to the peeps that showed us love on CFD!  Big thanks to LVHRD, LVHRD again, LVHRD again again, and LVHRD one last time.  We can't forget about the Austin Business Journal, Josh Spear, That Other Paper, The L Magazine, Brooklyn Based, The Huffington Post, and ecopop.
