Client:  Calvary Church - Santa Ana, California

This site belongs to Calvary Church of Santa Ana, CA. It is an extensive site with lots of content. It was a challenge to come up with a frontpage layout that could feature lots of information in an uncluttered manner. It utilizes a sophisticated CSS menu. The site is built with Dreamweaver templates that may be edited using the Contribute CMS.

One of the things that really made this project a success was its strong color palette.  The church went through some renovations and worked with architects and designers to carefully choose a color scheme for the campus master-plan.  I took the palette and figured out the nearest hex equivalent for each shade.  Then used Adobe's Kuler tool to expand on the palette slightly.  It has helped Calvary's Creative Arts Pastor (Trevor Behrns) to have such a strong color scheme to guide his choices as he designs the look for each sermon series and the Powerpoint slides.

Speaking of Powerpoint slides... One of the nice features of the front page design is that there is one feature box and three focus boxes that can all accommodate the graphics designed for Powerpoint with only slight modifications required.  This streamlines the workflow for Pastor Behrns.
