CUSTOM KICKS is a book by Maki from the Netherlands. They invited 150 artists to customize a pair of sneakers. I made an action painting inspired version of Nike Huarache shoes.
 
 
For the release of the CUSTOM KICKS book an event with invited designers was held on Spui square in Amsterdam. People could bring their sneakers to have them customized for free. Here's some of my designs from that day.

Thanks, man! There I used the copics for the shoes as well, but of course Poscas for example are a lot better to use on leather.
