This was yet again one of those very last minute editorial projects conceived and produced 3 or 4 days before the issue had to ship to the printer. Phil and I set-out to produce a women and men's fashion editorial based on a music video that a friend and colleague of mine, Hamish Robertson had introduced me to. The idea was to set-up a fake casting call for auditions, using people found on Craigslist. Some of the people thought that they were actually auditioning for a part, and got right into caracter. We were even able to film the shoot as a quick and dirty web episode.
Phil is truly great to work with as he is one of those photographers that can turn on a dime (for the better), and embrace a completely creative and simple idea, and execute it with great style.
