Re-branding Efforts.
I have been working on developing the brand identity and marketing for Bond Media Tech, the online recruiting division of Bond Street Group, a full-service recruiting practice in NYC.  I've started by leading the process to redesign its website.  The new site is www.bondmediatech.com, which uses a Blogger feed for job postings so that any of our recruiters can easily post and update job listings. The site was redesigned by Catharsis' design director, Thomas Moon, using existing branding, as a smooth transition from the previous site at www.bondstreetgroup.com/technology.htm. The whole design and development process was In addition to producing the new site and logo, I have begun working on multi-channel marketing through sponsorships, social media marketing, advertising, and partnership development, and will be working on developing the brand through more marketing and PR communications activities this year. We co-sponsored a Rockband game contest and fundraiser hosted by Kotaku and Penny Arcade this past December, called FundeRazorWe are now helping launch a non-profit organized by one of our teammates Ben Bergman, called Takes All Types - aimed at facilitating blood donations and emergency outreach through a social media application on Facebook, currently in development.

The Headhunting Game.
The Bond Media Tech division specializes in recruiting for interactive media and web technology companies.  Our group works with clients on a bespoke level, helping with organizational management and hiring at every level, in every discipline. We recruit both technology specialists and executive-level management, such as software and web engineers, back-end developers, web producers, product and project managers, sales, business development, marketing, operations and C-level management personnel.

As an account manager and recruiter, my area of expertise at Bond Street Group focuses on interactive agencies and new media companies.  I tend to choose clients and positions to fill based on my impression of the client's level of talent in their team - whether in their creative, technology, or management.  I am completely biased about a company's brand impression based on my own taste and interests, because I know that if I wouldn't want to work there, then I wouldn't want to waste anyone else's time either.  The difference between our agency and others is that we know what we're talking about when we talk about the web and online business models, and we don't bullshit around when it comes to recruiting.  If we don't think it's a good fit, then it probably isn't.  If we think it is, then it's probably worth a shot, because we speak directly with the hiring authorities, the decision makers.  The last thing you want is to work with a recruiter who has no idea about what you do for a living, and then tries to tell you that you're perfect for the job, just to find out that they're saying the same thing to everyone else they find. Our practice aims to be as transparent as possible, which can often be difficult in a corporate world, and sometimes hard to swallow, but I can wholeheartedly attest that it's much better to be open and honest in the end.  It saves everyone precious time and effort, and time is money.
